Signs Your Gelco Chimney Cap Is Failing

• Rust-colored streaks on the chimney brick. Gelco galvanized caps last roughly 12 to 15 years in Toms River’s salt-air climate before the coating fails. Once moisture gets under the finish, the steel underneath oxidizes and bleeds down the masonry every rain.
